Crocodile Park at Davao City

We went to Crocodile park a few weeks ago and here are some of the pictures that I took.

Crocodile Parade!

dentist says OPEN WIDE!
they do this to cool down.
Since Crocodiles have rough and tough skin, they don't sweat and the only way to lower the temperature of their body is to open wide. (am I right? or am I just making up things?)

Another fact, when crocodiles open their mouth, they don't close it even if you put something in it (example: your head, your hands, your feet or a stick) as long as they don't touch the surface of their mouth.

We again invaded Samal Island.. This time we went to Mayumi Beach Resort. The place was ok, the accommodation was CRAZY that it almost ruined the fun, the price was ok but the problem is that you have to pay for everything.

We had so much FUNDADOR by this time in our tummy and our head was spinning quite a bit. We made a complete mess out of ourselves. It was fun though! indeed you can only connect the dots looking back.

This was fun!

Hope we can do this all over again, but that would still be a long time waiting.

Common misconception is that Samal Island is part of Davao City. Well, it is not. It is part of Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte.

Haven't posted any entries in the longest time. I had my birthday coming up and some errands I had to finish. 2007 is an old story but I am still haunted by its book of accounts backlog. IHATE it! but its all ok now... I hope so....

Anyways... this is one of the many pictures we took during my birthday celebration. I still have plenty of pictures to share with you guyz and I will have to find a free time to upload it all.

I have a camera virus going on...heheheheh I can't take morning pictures right now or any pictures with extreme brightness. I need to take my digicam to a repair shop so for now, all maniniyut post will be night shots.

Warning signs: BEWARE of stupidity

Lately this is becoming a revelation to me. One can never measure how stupid a person can be. I have worked with a lot of morons who's IQ's never seem to reach a double digit but managed to find a way to get over the problem without fuss. Don't misinterpret me. I am not a genius myself and definitely I am not an anti-moron advocate. There are just some annoying creatures who's idea of life is to hide there “MORONess” by adding insult to injury.

This past few years I meet a quite number of stupid people in my life. They come in different size and form. You can see them like a wide array of “ukay-ukay” in Agdao public market and one just can't help but marvel where the hell they came from. They are clothed in decent attire with decent positions and a cursed (not blessed) with the monopoly of words that could sell Mt. Everest to Bill Gates.

The more they talk, the more the stupidity shows. They try to hide their flaws by showing people they know everything. They talk about life, politics, finances and even personal things which will make you feel they are really interested (whatever!). They appear smart and classy. But an in depth analysis will show how shallow they really are. They are like vultures waiting to see your weak spot and attacks you when your ready to sleep and trust them.

I'm I making sense? Probably not to all who will read this. We all have a different notion of stupidity and mine might be different from yours. Here are some points we all might agree when to consider a person stupid.

When one lies in front of you and pretends you don't know. There is nothing more stupid than an assumption that one person is as stupid as them.
Making up inconsistent stories to justify a stupid things they did in the past.
Blaming other people for their misfortunes.
When one takes advantage of ones goodness.
When everybody can feel the hypocrisy of the relationship and still would pretend that everything is alright.

Here is a deal. Send me a story of the MOST STUPID PEOPLE/PERSON you met in your life and I'll publish the story. I just did share mine. Oh and by the way, did I mentioned I got tricked by the most stupid person I know. They did exactly what I mentioned in this entry. Didn't see the warning signs. Not till I realized the SIGN number 1 is happening.

lobo inspired shot

This is a lobo inspired shot. LOBO is a mini-drama, suspense and fantasy teleserye of ABS-CBN. I hope I am right but LOBO does mean wolf.!? im not sure, anyway, the story is about a girl who turns in to a wolf every full moon and falls in love with this guy who believes that his father was killed by a "taong lobo". My friend juvy said it is a good mini-drama, I can't say coz I haven't seen it yet. But I think the cast is great.

My mom and dad has this certain attachment to orchids. I took some pictures of their Vanda orchids. I am not really sure if I had the spelling and variety right but I assume I'm right. It has a close resemblance to the popular waling-waling. For someone like me who is not an expert in this matter I would be easily tricked.

Haven't really got over my favorite subject, the sea and sky subject. The combination of the two is always striking no matter how sunny or cloudy the day is.

This seawall was made for Isla Verde residents to protect them from he raging waves during habagat season. Up to no this remains a file of big stones. The seawall which was the original project together with the coastal road remains a dream.

Mary rose Grand Carnival is now here. It is not a fancy carnival but it is a fun place to be. People from all walks of life gather here every night to experience a wild and crazy night. The amusement caters for everyone in the family. The rides and games are exciting and very affordable. With a 10.00 php entrance fee you can get access to the popular rides and pinoy games. BINGO, Color game and many more. Fun! fun! fun!

After a fun, crazy and tiring night Its time to go home. This is the picture of the Carnival from the outside. With the lights and sound, you can never miss the spot when you pass by matina-maa road.
